Space exploration and Physics research is certainly not a waste of money. Mainly because so little is spent on it.
Mars-Regulus Conjunction

This is not a real picture, where the Sun is in the foreground and the is way off in the background in the distance. This picture shows the sun and a solar prominence, next to the actual size of the Earth, in scale. That flare could easily engulf Earth if it was close enough.
I’m thinking about getting a microphone as opposed to used the one on my camera… cameras aren’t really known for their audio capabilities… I mean it’s not like many people even watch my youtube videos, but I’m doing it for myself more than anyone. Playing pieces by memory is great in the sense that I don’t need the sheet music everywhere… but does pose the problem of not being able to play pieces anymore from the previous few months because I haven’t practised it. If anything it’s an archive of music I know/knew… I’m sure higher quality audio wouldn’t hurt.
The Haunting Beauty of NGC 3190 —A Deadly Supernova Factory
—
This magnificent galaxy inspires us, again, to ask: does advanced life exist there? The fact that we have no proof of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe may simply mean that intelligent civilizations have all too finite lifetimes. NGC 3190 is a spiral galaxy of unbearable beauty in the constellation Leo. It was discovered by William Herschel in 1784. In 2002, astronomers uncovered one supernova in March in the southeastern part and then another team uncovered a second supernova on the other side two months later -sure destroyers of vicinity-based life.
The spectacular image below is the “Trio in Leo.” There is actually a fourth member of this group which not shown- but the group also goes by another catalogued name of “Hickson 44.” These galaxies are estimated to be 60 million light years away. The galaxy furthest to the left is an elliptical galaxy (NGC 3193) and is fairly devoid of detail. The top center of the image features NGC 3190.

I’m going to try to be really organised this year! I’m going to file things away, use a large diary/planner, have a calender as well. I wonder how long this will last…
Well my piano lessons are at an end due to me starting University. So technically I should be able to pick up a piece and learn it myself. Hmmmmmm… Maybe.
